I'm a Computer Technology student at Bowie State University concentrating in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience across Windows and Linux administration, Active Directory, and self-hosted infrastructure. I'm currently working to complete my CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications and spend my free time running a home lab built to mirror real enterprise environments. Eagle Scout. Proud member of BDPA Baltimore.

What I bring to a team, and where I learned it.

I'm known for reliability, professionalism, and clear communication — traits I built as an Eagle Scout and carried into my City of Baltimore IT internship.

Outside of coursework, I run a home lab that mirrors small-enterprise infrastructure: virtualization, containerized services, DNS-level network monitoring, and secure remote access. It's where I test the things I'm learning before I need them in a job.

  • Worked directly with non-technical staff across IT and operations teams to translate their needs into technical requirements and deliver a dashboard used daily.

Personal Home Lab

  • Built and maintain a multi-service server environment on Proxmox, deploying and supporting Docker-containerized applications — including installs, updates, backups, and diagnosing service outages.
  • Run a personal DNS server to monitor network traffic and block unwanted applications at the network level; configured firewall rules and secure remote access via WireGuard VPN.

Self-Hosted Web Server

  • Deployed an Ubuntu Server running the Apache HTTP Server, configured with a custom domain and IP-based access control to restrict incoming connections.
  • Set up Apache virtual hosts and DNS routing to direct traffic correctly, then hardened the server against unauthorized access with firewall rules on top of Apache's own access controls.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting of access and connectivity issues, maintaining it the way I would a production server.

Mock Supercomputer / Virtual Cluster

Raspberry PiClusteringHPC Concepts
  • Built a 6-node Raspberry Pi cluster wired together over a dedicated switch, configured to emulate a small high-performance computing (HPC) environment.
  • Set up node-to-node networking with static IP addressing and SSH-based cluster management to coordinate jobs and monitor status across all six nodes.
  • Diagnosed connectivity and configuration issues across the networked systems, troubleshooting everything from physical cabling to service-level configuration.
